Club Announcement!

Okay few things!

  • Here is the bumper for Hibiki's Magic if you read it! It's not too late to discuss it in thread if you wish. Very Happy

  • The position for Club Co-Leader is still available! Just send me a PM if you are interested!
  • Club Hiatus: We will take a hiatus during the month of November. I'd like to create a new thread and clean up the club list. So stay tuned for that!

This manga was incredibly heartwarming and had a surprisingly solid plot. I had thought this was going to be a slice of life story about a girl learning magic; full of light humor and day to day activities; Not full of rather heavy psychological drama and philosophy. I wish it were finished. Even if we did get book 4 fan translated, the story would still be unfinished. The art style is adorable-though the pacing between panels can be a bit odd at times, and seeing Hibiki gradually improve and overcome her fear of failure was something that I took to heart. In chapter one, we see that she ends up crying and shutting down in frustration and fear if she fails too much, and this is something I can related to immensely. I get into the same situation as Hibiki over almost every task if I don't accomplish it the first time, and it was nice to see a character overcome that struggle.
I will always be on the look out for the fantranslations of the other book, and will post a link when I find them. Why is it always the good stories that end up being unfinished? It's not fair. ;n;
