Okay so Yuu Watase makes amazing manga. Her male characters are gorgeous. She's written:
Fushigi Yuugi
Ayashi No Ceres
Alice 19th
and many others.

I love her work and I'm just wondering how other people feel about it.

I went on a Yuu Watase kick last week and rewatched Fushigi Yuugi and Ayashi no Ceres. I am working on getting around to reading all of her manga.

I always thought the opening songs to Ayashi no Ceres were just gorgeous as well! They always sounded so painfully sad though.




And the opening to Fushigi Yuugi is a wonderful one as well! It always made me feel happy.

Yuu Watase's Alice 19th was actually the manga which introduced me to Japanese manga and anime, I really enjoyed it Smile .

I read Fushigi Yuugi a long while ago but just recently started to read Genbu Kaiden (and actually read all chapters that have been translated thus far in two days) and I must say that Genbu Kaiden shows how much Watase has grown from the time when she drew Fushigi Yuugi. Her style has naturally developed a lot and the plot is much better and it progresses smoother.

I like Genbu Kaiden's theme song quite a lot



I would have posted in this thread earlier but I did not notice it until now.

I'm just reading Fushigi Yuugi now, such beautiful artwork^^!!!!! I admit I am biased at times when it comes to manga, if the artwork isn't appealing sometimes I lose interest if the story can't pro the con of some art lol same for anime >.>
