Ok, now I do not like zombies, I hate blood and gore and I hate any kind of living dead things that moan and groan and eat flesh. Yet I am addicted to this show. I can't stop. It was the only thing that kept me going through this previous month of school. It is so, so, so good. Gyah! The characters, the story line, everything. Are there any other fans of this show? I would love to rant about the characters I loathe (lol) and ramble about the ones I like and those nail-biting episodes!

OMG I'm totally in love with this show!

Generally, I am a major fan of zombie movies, part of the reasons why I got into this in first place. I am not usually interested into series in general because of my schedule that makes me miss too much episodes. This series is really different from what I expected and I am totally addicted to it too! The storyline is among awesome and interesting. I remember with the first season, I couldn't wait for the next episode to come so I just bought the boxset and watched them all in two nights.

Am I crazy or am I the only one to think some aspects of the Walking Dead were similar to the movie ``I am Legend``?

I didn't watch it while it was airing because I hate zombie shows and I heard that it was gory. But I heard that it is similar to a show called Jericho (omg freaking AMAZING show), so I was slightly interested. Anyway, I downloaded the first episode and was hooked!

I didn't like I am legend at all. Was so depressing. But maybe they can be compared because they both have that empty and lonely feeling to them?

Btw, I officially hate every female on the show. It is so bothersome because there is no one to root for. >_<

And I would marry Daryl, hands down. He is just incredible. I also love Dale and my heart constantly goes out to Rick, who always tries so hard and always has ungrateful self-righteous females lecturing him.

Love this show! It's a shame we didn't have this thread when it was airing because then I could have posted my rants like I did on my other board.

But yes, Daryl is awesome and is too good to be with this group. I'm glad Rick finally laid the smack down on everyone because they need to stop blaming him for eveything. It annoyed me that no one (except for Daryl) seemed to understand why he had to kill Shane.

Absolutely love this series (although I wanted to murder AMC for giving me that HORRIBLE cliff hanger in November XD). Since I have a busy schedule as well, I tend to record it on my DVR and watch it when the little ones are asleep.

I am also in love with Daryl! He is just too awesome and doesn't flip flop with who he is ^^ Dale was such a good man too and I also feel the same about Rick about how underapperciated he is by the group (*cough* and how Lori manipulates him). As for females, I think the only one I somewhat like is Maggie...that's about it.

By the way, innocentvenus, LOVE that image ^^ Maybe when the next season comes we can have discussion groups about the episodes that air - it'd be fun to rant/praise about things we like in each episode.

FREAKING BRILLIANT IMAGE! Personally, Daryl and Rick are the only reasons why this group is still alive. Everyone just blames them for making the difficult decisions or when things go wrong. Rick just had to kill his BEST FRIEND. And the reaction is 'how dare you!' even though 90% of the group KNEW that Shane was a loose canon who was going to get everyone killed?

I can understand Hershel being upset, he just lost his entire life as he knew it when the farm went down. But Lori, my god, after sheer whispered in his ear to kill Shane she is is all 'don't touch me' when she finds out that Rick finally did. Although, to be honest, I thinkshe was mainly reacting that way because of what Karl did. I think she blames Rick for that (what else is new) but even in that instance, Shane was dead and Karl saved his father's life.

But Karl can die. It's hell annoying that Sophia dies while that boy is still putting around, being all angsty and getting people killed.

Daryl is so beautiful, just as you said, Papi, because he doesn't flip flop around and is honest. He recognizes that Rick is the just source of stability and supports him without being his lackey. I hope he does not let Carol's words influence him. That would be such a shame.

I thought I liked Andrea but I actually hate her more than Lori, if you can believe that. She is just out of her mind with thinking she is so above everyone and can think however she wants and can make everyone have her kind of mindset.

I don't know. She just infuriates me.

I love this show also. The Walking Dead hit me when My sister and I were going Zombie Crazy. We try to own every single Resident Evil and we were playing it when I heard of it and now the whole house watches this show. I found out how much everyone loved it by just going on Facebook on Sundays. You see everyone's status say "OMG Walking Dead tonight, can't wait" blah blah. So I'm glad its not just my sister and I that love it. Besides our parents too. lol

I've seen the first season of this, but not the second. I'll have to buy the DVDs to catch up.

My favourite character thus far is Dale. He's a good father figure. Daryl would be a better character if he weren't such a redneck. But he's capable enough, at least.

I used to love watching this show but now I'll watch it every once in a while I should really watch the season 3 trailer! But I must say, I just hate it when zombies are the reason why we can't have nice things >.>

I enjoy zombies, so I would prefer to see more zombie action than just people talking, but I do like this series.

Well, unless AMC and Dish Network resolve their feud, I will not be watching season 3 of the Walking Dead. Not legally anyway.

I don't know about you, but the end of last week's episode just made me depressed. I was actually slumped over on the couch just making small dying whale noises. And then I had to watch Finding Nemo to make me feel better. >_<

I hope things get better for tomorrow's episode!

I don’t like the whole thing with Rick losing his mind.

I finding it hard to watch anymore. I loved the first season and parts of the second, but this third one just seems like every episode is following a checklist.

Rick going insane? Check.
Minor/Major character death? Check

It just seemed like they've forgotten the story and are too busy trying to shock us.

I am just so sick of this season, with at least one character being killed off per episode. And I hate how they're trying to rely more on shock value this season. Seriously, my jaw practically dropped when the Governor shot and killed

Speaking of the Governor, I could give a huge ol' rant about how much I despise the guy. I'm completely aware that we're not suppose to like the guy, but I myself am usually a big fan of villains, but I just cannot tolerate him whatsoever.
