Black Bird. It's weird, and I'm not sure if I like it yet or not..

I found my old manga collection of SM, so of course I'm re-reading it! ^-^

I actually really like Black Bird, I own all the manga that is out so far.. it's a tad repetitive, but I like it because it's not an intensive or heavy read. And it's also cute and I love the teasing..

@Toft -- Know of any good yuri? So many are so empty and pwp. :\

Only the really early stuff, I think. It's really tough to find good yuri - especially since there's the whole yuri-for-dudes vs. yuri-for-ladies thing, of which I only really enjoy one kind.

*thinks*

Hatsheput by Yamagashi Ryouko, which is just a couple of short stories - set in Egypt, of course.

Paros no Ken/The Sword of Paros by Yumiko Igarashi (of Candy Candy fame) & Kaoru Kurimoto, which is a fantasy series of epic drama.

There's a longer series, Applause, which I've never found (am sad about this), but there's a prequel story which is translated (Bruges) and kind of neat. Lililicious have it.

There's also a couple of super early stories which look freakily similar, from '71 & '72 or something, Shiroi Heya no Futari & Maya's funeral procession. The former is in the time-honoured schoolgirl tradition and the latter is gothic horror.

None of these could be described as PWP - the last two are v. inexplicit, because you know, early 70s.

I'm currently reading the Sailor Moon reprint and Tiji-kun, which I am finding surprisingly enjoyable for a fighting manga.

I posted the Sailor Moon manga in my blog yesterday, and Tiji-kun should go up this coming Monday, if anyone else wants to read it. Though you can find these easily just by searching; I only post them in my blog because I convert them to be read on ereaders.

I've just re-watched the entirety of Utena. Now I am full of love and desire to write fic. Hooray!

I'm also reading Pluto, which is Urasawa's remix of Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy. Urasawa is a fantastic storyteller, yay. Needs more ladies, though. (Urasawa is also the mangaka behind Monster and 20th Century Boys.)

Otherwise I'm doing a lot of course reading.

Well I was watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic but I just finished it. Apparently the new season is about to start so I'm glad I don't have to wait!! Haha. I don't know why but I really enjoy it and have been really tempted to go buy some of the toys based on it. >.>

No shame. :3 I love My Little Pony. XD My friend & her bf worked really hard to make me a birthday cake for my 20th...they did an adorable job, & bought a toy Pinkie Pie to go on it. xD I'll have to find the photo in the depths of FB.

I tried to watch Inuyasha but I thought it was boring, to be honest. Even in japanese. I gave up after two or three episodes. When I first started watching it in portuguese I knew nothing about the series so I really thought the girl's name was Agome. Later I found out it was actually Kagome. I understand the change since Kagome means "I poop myself" in portuguese. I'm glad they changed her name. Usually, I don't agree with random name changes but this one I can understand.
I had to drop Tsubasa Chronicle. Even though I adore Cardcaptor Sakura, Tsubasa is too confusing. I like the opening song, though.
Marmalade Boy disappointed me. I love the manga but the anime... I can barely watch it after Miki and Yuu get together. Those changes with Yuu going to America and the main couple making out with every female/male character around... And that ending with a montage of all those kisses... Shocked It was supposed to be romantic ending with our couple finally together, but instead we get to see the main couple kissing every single, attractive character. Not cool.
I'm planning to watch Fruits Basket, Ah! My Goddess, Honey and Clover and Chobits.

Just starting to read Swan, which is a classic shojo manga about ballet. I expect great sparkliness.

I dropped it too, but not because it was confusing. I just didn't like it. I didn't like the whole pay a price thing.
Spoiler:

I don't view it has a squeal to CardCaptor Sakura. I view it has a professorial fanfic even though it was made by CLAMP.

Speaking of CardCaptor Sakura I'm rewatching it for the like the 5th time. I love the show so much! I tend rewatch it almost once a year. weird huh?

Omg I saw that a long time ago and it scared me! I think did episodes too.

This is kind of off topic, but here's a sailor moon one! It's actually pretty good, but it's still creepy....

...How did you make the video appear in the post???

Currently Watching:
Mawaru Penguindrum

I don't know how I am still watching this because it has gotten weirder every week. It does have really good cliffhangers though.

Currently Reading:
High School Debut

Started reading this at a friend's house. I love shoujo manga.

Is that about the violent girl? I think I've read that!

Currently reading Alice 19th. It's been on my shelf since I was in middle school, just now picked it up again because I don't remember it.

I'm watching Rose of Versailles at the moment (due to recommendations from Toft), I started at full swing but forgot to keep with it for a while because so much happened. But it's really good, I love me some history and feminist material!

And I'm a sucker for romance novels so I've been powering through them, currently reading Luck of the Wolf by Susan Krynard. I don't know, it's some wolf romance thing. I just read them and enjoy them momentarily, don't judge me.

The girl was only into sports until high school, and when she hit high school she wanted to be girly, and have a boyfriend.

I love Alice 19th! ^^ I started making bracelets of power and was like "I'll totally sell these on ebay! Very Happy" (('cause it was waaay back before 2006 and there was no such thing as esty)). I still think it'd be fun to make the bracelets. ^^

Currently reading: "Dragon Queen: The Tale of Guinevere". (A fantasy retelling of the Authrian tale. It's very interesting, and now I want the sequel if I can find it.)

You know, I actually started watching this in the summer but I never did finish it. I think I got two episodes in and stopped. The animation is a bit choppy for me. LOL I don't think I would have a problem getting through the story if I decide to the read the manga. I do have to say, though, that the intro song to the series is very catchy ~Bara wa Bara wa~

Oh yes! The music is amazing, that's something I love about anime. I do get 'bara wa bara wa' stuck in my head all the time, LOL. I only stopped watching it at around episode 15 because I just got side tracked but now I'm powering through it, almost up to episode 30. It's great once you get into it, see I love history and one of my favourite movies is Marie Antoinette so this is just wonderful for me. Very Happy

I do love me some corny late 70's/early 80's melodramatic music. LOL Oh wow, you really are getting through it. I should give it another try. If I don't rewatch this holiday season I might rewatch during my summer. I love world history as well.

Gakuen Alice is the best manga ever <3 It may seem really simple at the beginning, but it gradually becomes complex and amazing ! (:
Ever since I finished Sailor Moon, I've been watching heaps of different animes.
I really liked Ao No Exorcist, Maid-Sama, Chibi Vampire Karin and My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute ^w<
