Many users on here are aware that I'm pretty gung-ho for a live action Sailor Moon. Hell, I'd produce one if I had a studio behind me. That said, I'm always being reminded of the senshi by certain people.

As much as Serinda Swan reminds me of Setsuna or how much Keiko Kitagawa is my perfect Mars, I think EVERYONE can agree this girl embodies Haruka.

I love her work; she's my current muse. I thought it was worth sharing on here due to her undeniable resemblance to Uranus. It made me wonder if anyone on here knew of a model, actress or even had a friend who just looked remarkably like one of the characters from Sailor Moon.

If (!!!) Seiya would be completely male and not a woman actually, I think Mizushima Hiro would be so perfect for him - I guess nobody will agree since Seiya's ACTUALLY a girl. XD

(I know - she's not blonde, but I can't imagine an Usagi with blonde hair .. I mean, she's Japanese and I don't think a 14 yrs old girl should lighten her hair that much .. XD)

Mmhmm. Jana has a super androgynous face with her angular features, defined jaw and large-arched eyebrows. But that's the point. Haruka looks like a man when she first turns up.

I like Mizoshima Hiro as Seiya--especially with that hair. I don't want to insult him because I'm sure he's at least twenty but he does have boyish-ly good lucks. I always thought that was cute about Seiya. Even if HE is actually a SHE, she still acts like a teenage boy and it's cute. That actor would work very well.

I'm not sold on Elena though. Mainly because I'm working off hair colors and features relevant to those hair colors. Example, I can see Mars as being Asian, Italian or Greek because of her hair color.*

Also, Elena's face a little narrow and too pointed for me. Haruka calls Usagi Moon-face in the anime. I've always seen Usagi as having a round face.

**Though, I favor an asian Mars because of her traditional Japanese background. Her character isn't Americanized at all. If and when there's a modern telling of SM, I'd love for there to be a multi-racial cast with a Japanese actress portraying Mars.

Ah this reminds me of some of the Sailor Moon Dreamcast blogs I've seen/followed. If I find some of them again I'll post em here. I don't follow celebrities at all so I'm really no good at suggesting people. ^^;

Brit-chan, this isn't a dream-cast topic per se. I'm not taking acting prowess into account at all here. Not to tell you what you can or can't do but I didn't create this topic with the intention of pitching casting ideas.

Eh, but its the same concept isn't it? Because most of these people you are picking are celebrities or well known, whether or not they are actors. And if thats the case, then I assume cosplayers are ok to post then?

Not exactly. True, the faces are faces of celebrities but I only chose them because of how they resembled the characters. I said in my initial post if anyone had a friend who looked like the characters, they'd be welcome to post. It's really just whoever looks like senshi.

Cosplayers are welcome. Though, I think people are more inclined to post cosplay pics based on how well the costume looks rather than the profile or build of the cosplayer.

well when i meant by cosplayers is if i saw one that fit them regardless of the quality of the costume.

I know someone who looks like Haruka . Haha she even gets mistaken for a guy all the time . She has blonde short messy hair and grey/blue eyes , plus she doesn't have much for a chest either , she can't even fill a "A" cup bra . I'm the only Sailor Moon fan in our group of my friends so no one sees it but me . Aha , just thought I'd share my story . : )
